Bridge Project Manager - Gpac

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bridge Project Manager to oversee our bridge and highway projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction, from initial planning and development through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage new bridge construction and rehabilitation of existing bridges, including various types such as truss, concrete, single span, double span, swing, arch, beam, cable-stayed, tied-arch, suspension, and cantilever bridges.
• Oversee all phases of project management including mass excavation, site development, demolition, fine grading, pipe and drainage installation, traffic control, structure demolition and removal, underground utilities, erosion control, concrete work, steel work, and paving and milling.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet design specifications and are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
• Manage project staff and subcontractors, providing leadership and direction as needed.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
• Handle any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Is a plus not a requirment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil project management, with a focus on bridge construction and rehabilitation.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of various types of bridges and construction techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
