Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking Bridge Project Managers to join our Bridges & Structures team in Ohio! Candidates may be located anywhere in Ohio.
Our bridge experts partner with our clients to understand project objectives, while formulating solutions that result in successful outcomes that are safe, efficient, economical and sensitive to the environment. This highly skilled team of professionals offers a full range of bridge services from scoping, planning and preliminary engineering through final design, for small to large scale bridges.
Responsibilities:- Prepare effective work plans and man-hour budgets.
- Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects.
- Prepare advanced engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy.
- Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects.
- Oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects.
- Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, and schedule of deliverables.
- Participate in formulating and coordinating proposals and provide other marketing support, including business development.
- Negotiate with clients on any scope changes relative to project budgets and schedules subject to supervisors’ approval.
- Review monthly man-hour and cost reports.
- Ensure that all scope revisions affecting the project schedule and/or budget are discussed with the client.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
- 8+ years' experience in bridge engineering is required.
- Ohio PE license is required (or through reciprocity).
- Prior ODOT project experience is required.
- Current MicroStation and OpenRoads experience; Civil 3D experience is a plus.
- Ability to mentor and coach junior team members is a plus.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
