- Assisting with Data Conversions activities
- Reviewing numerous conversions objects, identifying what items are open with client. Driving them to closure, while coordinating with Consulting and Talent as needed.
- Role also requires interaction with our internal customers from Talent.
- Reviewing data mapping templates (source and target system fields), facilitate their completion with accurate information. This may vary from facilitating meetings to pulling up information from systems to help with data mapping decisions.
- Creating documentation (for example, requirements, functional specs) for supporting tools builds for HXM.
- Reviewing testing & defects for each conversion cycle, and coordinating their resolution (especially if defects are assigned )
- Participate in user training sessions, especially before/during business validation phase of Conversions (User Acceptance Testing). Help plan for testing.
- Triaging defects, help troubleshooting defects. Identify workarounds, if any.
- Keep track of open items - unaddressed conversion requirements and ensure they get addressed in upcoming conversion cycles. Help prioritize them as well as scope with a conversion cycle.
- Collaborate with IT Conversion Lead / Engagement Manager with weekly status reporting. Maintain Smartsheet trackers (you can think of these as ADO info spread across multiple Excel-like sheets) with accurate status.
