Budget & Finance Director, Destination & Surgical Service Lines - Seattle Children's

Plan, implement and evaluate all business and financial operations for Destination & Surgical service line teams, including operating and capital budgeting, staffing, workforce and visit volume forecasting, and ensuring that appropriate facilities and resources are available and efficiently utilized to support patient care delivery. Collaborate with VP and Division leaders to develop and implement strategic planning, project planning, modeling of staffing changes, daily management systems and continuous quality improvement initiatives intended to optimize the delivery of Destination & Surgical service Lines. Collaborate with internal Finance department and external institutional peers to develop and implement appropriate staffing and other financial benchmarks. Provide in-depth knowledge and data support to clinic leaders to analyze staffing, non-labor expenditure, and improve cost to deliver effective patient care. Serve as a mentor and provides leadership to practice advisors and practice managers across divisions. Provide leadership for management and project support to the Vice Presidents, Sr. Directors and Directors with Destination & Surgical service line responsibilities. **Required Education and Experience** - MBA, MHA or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Minimum of five years experience supporting health care finance and business systems. - Demonstrated experience leading teams and process and/or systems improvements. - Experience in analyzing and interpreting clinical or financial data to develop, and integrate information into presentations and visual systems for decision making. - Expert ability to develop data tools, conduct analysis and present actionable information. - Experience with statistical analysis and modeling to support proforma and business plan development. **Required Credentials** - N/A. **Preferred** - Experience in managing complex data systems with analysis responsibilities. - Experience using benchmarking data and tools. - Experience supporting ambulatory or provider practice services. - Revenue cycle experience and understanding. - Epic Electronic Health Record experience and understanding. **Compensation Range** $123,094.00 - $184,642.00 per year **Salary Information** This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
