Building Assistant Duties:
Provides a clean shop floor throughout the day utilizing the floor scrubber as needed. At the end of day mopping the office and both bathroom floors.
Maintains bathroom, break area, and other common areas. Ordering/picking up supplies as needed.
Attends and completes company hazard communication standard and worker right-to-know training.
Monitors parking lot to assure all cars are locked and parked in an orderly fashion in designated areas. Leaving no hoods open while parked outside.
Monitors weather related needs - Water rain gardens when warm and shovel and ice the front and side sidewalk and steps. Assist in snow removal from parking lots in the winter and moving cars during snow emergencies.
Check all company vehicles for expired tabs and regularly vacuum and clean/detail inside. If tabs are expired, advise the Manager/owners.
Take all possible precautions to maintain the safety and health of you and others.
Perform all maintenance and cleaning with speed and thoroughness.
Notify Manager, Supervisor, or Owner if any supplies need to be ordered or delays are expected. Assist in expediting the ordering of supplies.
Able to do remodeling and carpentry related work.
Follow Daily, Weekly, and Monthly shop cleaning procedure
Assist the Building Manager with any necessary repairs, maintenance, cleaning.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Possess a valid driver’s license issued in Minnesota.
0-2 years experience in Building Maintenance.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Able to Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Able to operate all company equipment needed to perform required tasks.
Able to lift 60 pounds.
