About the Job
We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant in the Dallas, Texas area for property damage restorations and commercial mitigations to join our team of experts in Loss Management Services at Rimkus. Our team controls the early emergency services and mitigation phase for restorations and property damage.
Experience, and an understanding, specific to the ins and outs of mitigation and reconstruction work is needed. People hired ideally include former contractors account managers, and former adjusters who have knowledge of the mitigation phase with restoration experience for large commercial losses.
This is a remote position that requires travel as needed within the US and occasionally abroad. We will consider candidates from other cities and states if they can relocate at their own expense.

Responsibilities:Responsibilities include but are not limited to writing and adjusting the scopes of work, supervising headcount, determining, and resolving challenges, overseeing the job site, managing invoices along with reviewing and managing the quality standards.
Typical Tasks Include:
- Site visits to determine proper scope and industry standard billing practices (provide comparative estimates or ROMS).
- Meetings/conference calls/site walkthroughs to discuss scope issues/billing issues/etc.
- Secondary analytics of contractor invoicing about industry best practices regarding process and billing.
- Writing and furnishing reports to client/s detailing the findings (i.e., site inspections, invoice analysis, etc.).
- 10+ years of industry experience in property damage mitigation, adjusting, and or consulting in related discipline.
- Large loss property claims experience.
- Conducting site visits.
- Conducting analysis of contractor invoices.
- Writing narratives and detailed reports.
- Strong invoicing experience.
- Must be willing to travel as needed (this is an on-call position).
- Proficient using Excel and managing spreadsheets.
- Sketch experience using various programs.
- Experience using Good Notes and Xactimate desired.
- Construction knowledge.
