Building Consultant Sr
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Handles assignments up to $1M unassisted from adjusting business for commercial and personal property lines including liability and builders risk assignments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the daily and complex assignments with best-in-class service and expertise, delivering consistent value and trustworthy reporting to our clients.
- Completes site visits, generation of a complex scope of damages/repairs, high value cost estimating, site documentation, project management and high stakes negotiations.
- Provides independent control of reconstruction job costs and time frames to insurers and property managers.
- Maintains accurate records based on company standards and procedures, using designated technology.
- Accurately and efficiently manages billings including documenting and maintaining billable hours on a time and expense basis, work in progress, and timely delivery of reporting to clients including contractors working on complex projects.
- Provides independent oversite of complex mitigation processes including but not limited to industry standard drying practices, billing procedures, and daily site clerking.
- Partners with high level property claims adjusters and clients to produce best-in-class one-stop-shopping for clients.
- Completes and publishes narrative and executive summary reports.
- Develops and maintains a client base.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Current IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) Master certifications, WRT (Water Restoration), ASD (Applied Structural Drying), Smoke & Soot or equivalent certifications required.
Experience
Eight (8) years of relevant experience to include five (5) years of experience in the Insurance Restoration Industry or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
