About the Job
Our Building Engineer will provide direct assistance to lead engineer along with other assistant building maintenance engineers in repair and maintenance of rooftop units, heat pumps, fire & jockey pumps, fire panel, on-site generators, electrical closets, and entire building envelope across our Corporate Campus. And must provide assistance to the entire United Services department, along with interior buildouts
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:- Maintain and monitoring of the building automation system
- Provide preventative maintenance on the HVAC systems
- Ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment is properly installed and maintained
- Inventory of critical building maintenance supplies
- Respond to emergency situations
- General repairs and maintenance
- Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job, including but not limited to bending, lifting, reaching, and pulling of heavy mechanical equipment
- Available shifts: 11am-8pm & 9pm-6am
Perform all duties in a safe manner, following all safety procedures
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:Must Have Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Boiler operations license
- HVAC refrigerant license
- Centrifugal Chiller experience
- Fire panel experience
- Physical plant experience
- Make independent and good judgement decisions within proper policy and procedures
- Must be detailed oriented and have satisfactory literacy and writing, documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities along with basic computer skills
- Sometimes be able to work alone responsibly and without supervision
- Meet all legal requirements to be able to work in the United States
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with team members, vendors and the public, to understand and follow standard operating procedures, to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance
- Meet minimum requirements set by insurer to drive a company vehicle:
- No moving traffic violations set by insurer to drive a company vehicle
- No at fault accidents in the past 3 years
- Have not had a driver's license denied, suspended or revoked in the last 3 years
- No driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUI) convictions in the last 3 years
