Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician - Milk Specialties Global

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus will be paid out in three increments over the course of one year of employment with Milk Specialties Global. 

Milk Specialties Global, a leading manufacturer of nutrition and health products for over 60 years, has an excellent opportunity available for a Building and GroundsMaintenance Technician based out of our facility in Mountain Lake, MN.

Building and Grounds Maintenance are responsible for ensuring upkeep. Cleanliness and safety of all building grounds and outdoor areas within our organization’s premises. Primary duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks, repairing equipment and structures, landscaping and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Starting Pay: between $21.00 and up, depending on experience.

Shift:  Monday through Friday

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: 

• Replace broken or malfunctioning equipment and fixtures promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor areas, including parking lots, walkways and landscaping
• Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking lots during winter months
• Repair or replace damaged structures, including fences, gates, benches
• Paint, stain or varnish surfaces as necessary to maintain their appearance and protect against weather damage
• Conduct regular inspections of building, facilities and outdoor areas to identify maintenance needs

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Proven experience in building maintenance, groundskeeping or related field.
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques and equipment
• ability to operate power tools and machinery safety
• Strong attention to detail and problem- solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
