Onsite HOA/Community Maintenance Technician, Downtown Portland
- This position reports to one or more HOA/Condominium communities in the Portland Portland metro area on a daily basis.
- Perform regular inspections and repairs of common areas, facilities, equipment, and recreational areas. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning. Coordinate with contractors for major repairs or renovations.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and collaborate with management to address building maintenance and property concerns. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors to schedule and oversee facility maintenance repairs, ensuring timely and satisfactory completion of maintenance tasks.
- Carrying out regular maintenance schedules for HVAC systems, elevators and other equipment to avoid breakdowns.
- Testing fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and emergency lighting systems regularly.
- Perform seasonal maintenance duties.
- Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records and ordering supplies.
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician Positions:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in property management maintenance.
- Experience repairing and maintaining of one or more of the following building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool/spa, mechanical systems.
- Ability to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.
- Ability to participate in On-Call rotation, if applicable.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual labor.
- A valid driver’s license and active insurance. Reliable transportation.
