About the Job
Our client, a leading retirement community, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Director of Maintenance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay: $23.00
What's the Job?
- Building Maintenance responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and material stock as assigned by Director of Maintenance.
- Assist other maintenance personnel and/or the Director of Maintenance in projects when requested.
- Assist in the tasks of outside maintenance involving snow removal, ground care, etc.
- Share in the primary and back‑up "on call" time coverage for weekends and holidays.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma and/or equivalent
- Two (2) years previous maintenance experience in a retirement community or similar organization (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Ability to speak and read the English language in an understandable manner in order to communicate with residents, employees, family members, volunteers, and the public
- Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
