Building Maintenance Worker at NEW ADC LLC

We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new community in Orlando, FL, and we are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to help us maintain our high standards of service and care.

Position Overview: As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our community is safe, functional, and welcoming for our residents. Your expertise in maintenance and repair will help us uphold our commitment to quality living.

Experience

Minimum of one year previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance or related trade. Older properties (5+ years) may also require previous renovation experience.

Skills

Under direction of Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician must be able to diagnose problems with and repair the following:

· Major appliances

· HVAC

· Basic/intermediate plumbing

· Basic/intermediate electrical (when no license is required)

· Sheetrock

· General carpentry

· Pool care (if required by property)

· Pest control (if required by property)

· Roofs and gutters

· Wallpaper/painting

· Foundation/sidewalk

· Irrigation systems

In addition the position requires the following skills:

· Ability to work well with people

· Effective verbal communication skills

· Superior customer service skills

· Ability to read and write, and clearly communicate in English

· Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical functions

· Ability to perform the essential functions with minimal direct

supervision

· Ability to function as a team player

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various maintenance issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
