Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Building Materials Sales Manager to join our team. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals, developing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth in the building materials industry. Your primary focus will be on managing key accounts, cultivating new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and support.
Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Set sales targets and monitor performance metrics to evaluate progress.

- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to promote teamwork and achievement of sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key accounts and strategic partners.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability and ensure mutual satisfaction.

- Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities and industry trends.
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to stay ahead of market competitors.
- Implement marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and market share.

Operational Excellence:
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., logistics, finance) to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and sales forecasts to optimize product availability and minimize stockouts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the building materials industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and analytical mindset.
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Preferred, not required).
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
