Our Building Specialty Services (BSS) group is one of the fastest growing service offerings at our organization that includes a diverse mix of professionals with practical design, field, and industry research and product development expertise. This group is able to seek the best projects with the best clients because they deliver expertise that empower designers to create high performing buildings without compromising budget or function."
Your Key Responsibilities
+ Assist writing proposals and establishing financial budgets
+ Assist with project document reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)
+ Attend pre-construction meetings and document discussions
+ Assist with review and report on project mock-ups
+ Assist with performance of periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items
+ Assist with performance of field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)
+ Assist in small project management and coordination
+ Participate in continuing education
+ Periodic out of state travel
+ Perform various office related tasks
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
+ General knowledge of Building Science principles or Building Envelope components is a plus
+ Experience as a Building Envelope Consultant and/or Trade Expert is a plus
+ Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects
+ Ability to work in a team environment
+ Strong customer service commitment
+ Excellent communication and documentation skills
+ Professional attitude
+ Commitment to succeed
+ Persistence
+ Strong work ethic
Education and Experience
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role. Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus

Salary Range(s):
* SF Area $94,600 - SF Area $137,200 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC)
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
