SUMMARY OF POSITION
Tends equipment to blend bulk product. Fills blending tanks with required amounts of bulk product. Makes necessary adjustments to batch by taking measurements. Operate blending tanks to mix contents, and pumps mixture machines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Retrieve raw materials and record information on computer and on paper where needed.
Inspect, measure and weigh ingredients.
Able to measure, dump and blend components for production line. Lifting bags to dump into vats.
Obtain samples for QA analytical testing to ensure conformance to specifications.
Mathematical Skills
Simple Mathematics understanding required: Addition/Subtraction/Multiplication/Division
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
