Skills Required:
- A business analyst in a financial services / asset management industry.
- Working knowledge of SQL for basic and advanced data analysis, data verification, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Thorough understanding of ETL methodology, security requirements, and capabilities of the front-end delivery products.
- Thorough understanding of BI platforms, such as Spotfire, QlikSense, Micro strategy, SAP Business Objects.
- Understanding of data models, particularly for warehouse and analytical systems.
- A very strong understanding of the specific business processes being addressed, along with the ability to bridge the gap between the business community and the technical community.
- Excellent analytical skills – able to analyze and solve problems. Ability to accurately identify, document and recommend solutions to complex business problems. Excellent research and information gathering skills.
- Demonstrated experience in advanced strategic business visioning and planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop alternative solutions to the most complex problems and recommend the best solution to the business and project team.
- Provide detailed analysis, design, testing, implementation and documentation of the data warehouse, data marts, and business intelligence systems.
- Provide expertise in data analysis in the areas of reporting, data warehouse, data mart, and business intelligence.
- Must be able to meet with clients of varying levels to gather, document, and analyze system specifications and requirements, work closely with developers and testers in the fast-paced environment.
- Possesses ability to use effective facilitation skills and techniques to effectively influence with clients at various levels in the organization IV.
- Exposure to Cloud Platforms, such as AWS, Azure.
- Experience in the Asset Management Industry.
- Experience with predictive modeling and data mining techniques.
