Senior MDM Data Analyst/ Senior Provider Business Analyst
Our client in Boston, MA is looking to add a Provider / MDM Analyst.
Ideally this resource will have experience working with an MDM tool (Profisee, Informatica, Infosphere) in a healthcare environment - dealing with Provider data.
Client will also look at a more junior resource that has experience as a Healthcare Data Analyst doing Credentialing.

Our client is in the midst of making large investments to modernize our technical stack and build out our future state data ecosystem. Standing up our master data services program is a key component in this body of work and given provider data is critical in many different aspects of data and analytics, it makes sense that this is the initial domain the Master Data Management (MDM) team is focused on with Employee, Researchers, Supplies, Vendors etc. as potential domains to follow. The Senior Analyst, MDM will be a key member on the MDM team and will work to develop and maintain the match strategies using data from various data sources including but not limited to our Credentialing and Human Resource systems.

- Location - Hybrid required at Assembly Row
- Flexible hybrid schedule, 2-3 times a week. Tuesdays / another day depending on need
- Current Team is hybrid/ new hire will be Assembly Row Hybrid 4-8x a month
- Quals – 2 or more years MDM experience
- Preferred – Provider MDM experience highly preferred. We need provider MDM experience. or someone who did credentialling/ Our client systems, getting into the data we could train on the next need if they have tangential experience with providers / understands claims, informatics, Tableau, Power BI, understanding data systems, MDM is aggregating data from multiple systems and setting the right governance and processes, logic of that is good great candidate.
- If they have SAS and informatica that helps, master data management and providers / seeing new patients experience works well.
- Required at least 2 years or more of experience in Master Data Management - Strategy, roadmap, systems analysis, and application design or similar data management experience
- MDM in other industries / healthcare but not provider is ok as well, bio medical, life sciences, pharmacy.
- Team - current team of 8 BI developers. A contractor from Iowa role is ending Cassie Carter, she was here 4-5 years.
- Experience - MDM, healthcare related business processes related to medical staff offices, provider/doctor credentialing is helpful, open to MDM experience in a pharma/ biomedicine space

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with other scrum team members on ingestion of data into Profisee, a cloud based PAAS application hosted in our Azure Kubernetes environment
- Develop and maintain matching strategies and data quality rules
- Data Stewardship functions and administering the data stewardship model
- Gather business requirements and convert to technical requirements
- Collaborate with MDM Developers and Architects in support of the logical and physical model development
- Where possible, ensure development of attributes and MDM reference data is aligned with healthcare data best practices (FHIR, HL7, DaVinci, etc.)
- Management of MDM reference data and crosswalks in Profisee
- Develops and mentors other staff members; develops advanced expertise in tools and shares best practices

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science preferred
- Experience in healthcare related business processes related to medical staff offices, provider onboarding, or ambulatory and Our client operations
- 2 years or more of experience in Master Data Management - Strategy, roadmap, systems analysis, and application design
- 1 or more years of experience with MDM tools (Profisee Master Data Management, MDStaff or similar MDM platforms), experience in Profisee MDM preferred.
- Data quality, data governance and metadata management understanding; Experience with Collibra and/or Informatica preferred
Skills, Abilities and Core Competencies
- Extensive knowledge of the system development life cycle, functions and systems and application program development alternatives.
- Roadmap and strategy development, business case development expertise
- Sense of urgency, accountability, and agile development mindset
