We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for ongoing projects by leveraging expertise in finance and accounting with a focus on recommending improvements for efficiencies.

Position Overview: The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in documenting project processes from initiation to completion, recommending improvements, and enhancing operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance or accounting to effectively understand and analyze our systems related to orders, payments, inventory, and purchasing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document advanced business requirements for projects.
• Document and analyze project processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and automation.
• Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and provide recommendations for enhancements.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), create test cases, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Focus on process enhancement and business process re-engineering to optimize operations.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation for project processes and improvements.
• Work closely with finance teams to understand and integrate processes related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and treasury management.

Experience Required:

• Business Analyst on projects 7+ years of experience
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements for complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability to document project processes from beginning to end, with a focus on recommending improvements for efficiency.
• Strong experience in UAT, including the creation of test scripts and managing testing phases.
• Background in finance or accounting to understand systems related to orders, payments, payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and treasury

Key Experience:

• Experience as a Business Analyst on various projects.
• Proficient in testing methodologies, UAT, and documentation practices.
• Strong knowledge of process enhancement and business process re-engineering.
• Familiarity with financial systems, particularly Oracle, is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
