Your opportunity
+ As a Business Analyst working within the Equity Attribution and Analytics Team you will be responsible to deliver change across analytics systems to support a wide range of stakeholders.
+ You will support daily BAU issues that impact the calculation of Performance Attribution and Analytics
+ Troubleshoot ad hoc queries and missing data providers
+ Work on strategic performance initiatives migrating data between systems and data onto our cloud platform
+ To do this you will need to have excellent communication skills as you will be required to engage with stakeholders throughout the organisation, as well as with external third-party partners to define and document requirements.
+ You will be responsible for completed detailed analysis that requires sourcing and interrogating data from JHI’s data platforms.
+ Using both Agile methodologies, you will work as part of a team to delivery change covering the full project Lifecyle from project initiation through to test execution and Go Live.
+ Always work with the big picture in mind. Liaise with wider technology teams to coordinate inter dependencies and resolve issues.
+ Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure
+ Any risk / issues are communicated and escalated correctly
+ Work with delivery teams to ensure deliverables and timelines are adhered to
+ Assist with and where required manage the planning and executing of testing
+ Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
+ Experience of the analysis process: from requirements gathering in the form of user stories, writing acceptance criteria / test cases, implementation, capturing sign offs and presenting demos to business
+ Experience working with the business stakeholders, project managers, data analysts, data architects and developers to define solutions and implement change.
+ Work closely with the product manager/scrum master to deliver communication to key stakeholders including preparation of pre and post meeting documentation.
+ Understand and document Process Maps using tools such as Visio or LucidCharts
+ A good knowledge of financial products used in Asset Management mainly Equities
+ Proficiency in SQL to analyse data and investigate stored procedures and workflows.
+ Proficiency in Excel
+ Excellent attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have skills
+ Asset class experience and derivatives (Listed & OTC)
+ Ability to read and/or write Python, C#, or VBA
+ Agile Experience
+ Experience with MSCI BarraOne, Factset, or other performance attribution and risk systems
+ Knowledge of Jira and confluence
+ Ability to communicate, present, influence, reason and demonstrate the ability to articulate information technology concepts to non-technology personnel in a clear and compelling manner
+ Ability to deliver on heavy workloads and exceed high expectations while remaining focused and organized in a fast-paced environment

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through November 3, 2024.
Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
