About the Job
Andworx is seeking a Business Analyst to play an important role in the modernization of a federal agency's legacy system using Microsoft Power Platform. As Business Analyst, you will work closely with end users, stakeholders, and developers using an agile methodology, incorporating sprints to iteratively gather and refine requirements to inform system design, ensuring ongoing stakeholder engagement, feedback, and support to meet requirements and objectives. Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in business process re-engineering in an Agile, iterative environment.
- Experience conducting thorough business analysis to capture and document all business requirements and refine them to inform system design.
- Ensure continuous stakeholder engagement and feedback using agile methodologies.
- Experience executing Agile methodology ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, etc.).
- Experience leading key requirements gathering processes (elicitation sessions, stakeholder interviews, refinement, etc.).
- Experience producing artifacts (such as process diagrams, data flow diagrams, requirements trace documents, etc.) to fully capture system needs and decompose actionable tasks from high-level requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with both technical and non-technical people.
- Bachelor's degree.
- US Citizenship Required
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Position of Trust.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting federal government customers.
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
Responsibilities
As Business Analyst, you will leverage a blend of technical skills, business analysis, organization, and communication to perform the following:
- Use an Agile methodology to iteratively gather and refine requirements to inform system design, ensuring continuous stakeholder engagement and feedback using agile methodologies.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings to define requirements and provide meeting summaries and functional requirements.
- Conduct thorough Joint Application Requirement (JAR) session to capture all business needs accurately.
- Produce documentation, including the project plan, logical data models, and general requirements document(s) from JAR Sessions.
- Share findings and recommendations with project stakeholders to ensure continuous stakeholder engagement and feedback.
- Create an Initial Project Milestone Document.
- Track and Update Project Milestone Document.
- Document Bi-Weekly Status Reports.
- Continuously seek innovative and emerging technologies to improve system.
