TEKsystems is hiring for a Business Analyst- Financial/Internal Auditor to work HYBRID out of the New Haven, CT area.
This position will offer a HYBIRD schedule capability; most common would be three days in office and two days working from home.
This position would take place within one of Connecticut’s premier organizations and would offer tremendous growth potential.
JOB DESCRIPTION
-This role is responsible for providing financial information for the IT organization through analysis and reporting
-Identifies risks and trends that helps IT financial leadership to make informed decisions
-Recommends improvements to systems, practices, and procedures through information review of invoices, requisitions, and expense reports
-Responsible for the oversite of day-to-day business operations
-May lead and direct the work of others
-Manage all incoming invoices that IT pays
-Manages and oversees inbox of the invoices- works with sr teams, directors, vendors to ensure vendors are submitting correct invoices, all contracts have a purchase order
-Internal auditor for all IT invoices that come into us for payment
SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance
-2-3 years of experience in either Financial Analysis, Procurement Accounting could be a good fit
-Accurately records transactions and other financial records
-Performs reconciliations; navigates through systems and reporting tools to independently resolve routine and nonroutine discrepancies
-Identifies and raises potential financial issues, risks, ideas, and solutions
-Oversee and maintain various workflows and financial processes
-Stamina and character to multitask and be detail oriented
-Tax office or A/P background, in a for-profit business office, mindfulness is big
-Workday/Power BI experience would be preferred but not required
SHIFT
Monday- Friday 8am-5pm- 40-hour work week
PAY
35-40/hr.(based off experience)
