Position: Business Analyst I
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Salary Range: $72,900.00 - 73,900.00 per year
Clearance: Active Q Clearance
KeyLogic is seeking a Business Analyst to support the IT program at a major national laboratory.
Responsibilities:
- Receive tasks from a variety of sources to include Email, IM, phone, ticketing systems and in person.
- Self-identify projects and also receive them from the customers.
- Perform inventory management and asset tracking, analyze data and generate reports to identify trends; you will collaborate with cross-functional team, vendors and stakeholders.
- Help our field techs update the trouble ticketing system with accurate and clear troubleshooting steps.
- Help put in cyber security requests to add software to our classified systems and research the origins of COTS (Commercial off the shelf) software.
- This work will largely take place in our classified SCIF environment and will required the selected candidate to obtain an SCI clearance upgrade. Due to the nature of the work, all of the tasks must be performed onsite.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in computer science or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree must be directly related experience that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job or TWO (2) years related experience.
- Strong understanding of IT concepts, terminology, and troubleshooting procedures. Familiarity with various hardware and software systems commonly used in an IT environment.
- Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions commonly used in a business setting.
- Knowledge of procurement processes
- Proficiency in using inventory management and asset tracking systems.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to identify trends.
- Knowledge of ticket routing and dispatching processes and best practices.
- Ability to prioritize and assign tickets based on urgency, impact, and available resources.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively manage and track assets and inventory.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in recording and tracking assets and inventory.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Strong customer service skills to provide friendly and professional assistance to end-users.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with end-users, IT staff, and other stakeholder
- Ability to document and update ticket information accurately and clearly.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address inventory discrepancies, optimize stock levels, and resolve asset management issues.
- Familiarity with LEAN principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- US Citizen
- Have an active DOE Q Top Secret Clearance for onsite support or DOD Top Secret Reciprocity
- Must be able to obtain a SCI for onsite support.
- Must be willing to take and pass a Polygraph, if necessary
Desired Skills:
- Have an active DOE Q with SCI or TS clearance with SCI
- Experience with Cyber Security requirements
- Windows System Administration in a large corporate environment, at least 2-4 years
- Prior working experience with National Laboratory infrastructure
- Experience working with lab and tester-based systems, including unclassified and classified data backup solutions
- Organized individual with self-drive to complete tasks
- Familiar with VMware / Virtual Machine environment
