SUMMARY  

Responsible for serving as an expert in data analysis for the purposes of ship and debit reporting, negative margin analysis, and other ad hoc pricing analysis. Responsibilities will include identifying process challenges that create a negative impact to KGPCo while determining root cause and working with the appropriate department to implement corrective actions.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Responsible for analysis, reporting and measurements related to KGP’s successful execution of strategy                                                                                  
• Creates and maintains monthly ship and debit and negative margin tracker.         
• Analyze OEM ship and debit performance to recommend any required program changes.
• Analyze negative margin transactions to identify root cause and work with appropriate department to make any necessary process adjustments.

Other ad hoc reporting as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, mathematics, statistics, or related field
• 1-3years of data analytics or related experience. Pricing Operations experience is a plus
• Ability to manipulate large sets of data
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel, Excel Macros, Power Query
• Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft BI or other business intelligence solutions
• Strong analytical, organizational problem-solving skills
• Requirements include 3 or more years of related experience and Associates degree or equivalent. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the Company.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

• Ability to add and subtract 10-digit numbers, to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

REASONING ABILITY:

• Work follows established job aids and business rules.  Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
