About the Job
- The Business Analyst collaborates with the Product Owner on requirements, business value scoring and success metrics.
- The BA drives the requirements-gathering process that accurately reflects business needs which includes: risk analysis, as is and to be process documentation, agnostic of a specific technical solution.
- The BA reviews technical solutions for compliance with business processes and objectives.
- The BA coordinates end to end UAT cycle.
- The BA develops organizational change management framework; communication, training, and post-implementation support.
- The BA also writes business level (feature group/functional success metrics) acceptance criteria.
- As a Business Analyst, you perform the core duties of a BA and typically work with medium to large BU requests that have issues, requests or projects of moderate scope and complexity.
- You respond to problems, prioritize correctly, systematically gather information, sort through issues, seek input from others, develop accurate conclusions from findings, and make timely decisions to prioritize and adapt to change.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience at Salesforce or two to three years of relevant experience elsewhere.
- 2-4 years s in the following roles: technical support, project management, and consulting.
- Work proactively on customer issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Communicate at both the business and technical level (written and verbal)
- Work very comfortably with stakeholders at the department or division level.
- Juggle multiple issues, set expectations and prioritize accordingly
- Research and respond to customer questions
- Navigate complex situations involving multiple parties
- General Business Processes (Sales, Marketing, Service, Support)
- Business Applications (CRM) and Automation
- Salesforce Core product and features Force.com features and capabilities
- Internet Architecture and Cloud Computing Concepts
- General IT (database, security, networking) concepts and basic programming concepts
- Led the team that oversees Slack Marketing's business contribution, particularly the health of Slack's Marketing Pipe and the effectiveness of Slack's Direct to Paid GTM motion and Self-service
- Led the Executive Councils for Slack's Business Operations to identify areas of risk and optimization.
- Partner with Self-Service acquisition teams and Product leaders to maximize Direct-to-Paid customer experiences and results
- Work with the Web Strategy, Product, and Data Engineering teams to develop a Self-Service and Slack.com dashboard that shows leading and lagging ACV indicators across the self-service business.
- Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders in finding opportunities, prioritizing roadmaps, defining and implementing execution excellence, and coaching and mentoring team members
- Led the team to create and manage Slack's Self-Service Attribution model.
- Play the role of a thought leader in the Analytics transition from descriptive to predictive analytics
- Share and influence Salesforce's company-wide Self Service GTM approach, based on Slack expertise and learnings.
