Business Analyst - III - TechDigital

About the Job
JH: Our team sits within HR under the operations and strategy team. We build report and relationships with both Business Technology (IT) and ES (HR), Total Rewards (Comp).
We are looking for an Business Analyst who can support the Compensation workstream. This person will be responsible for partnering with multiple COEs, Business Technology and Consulting partners to test and enable our future state business processes, structures and cross-team dependencies to transform our Workday tenant and experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Support business analysis, requirements gathering, facilitation and needs analysis:
* Understand and interpret the diverse issues and requirements of business partners, which may sometimes conflict; and work with stakeholders to design solutions that meet overall business needs.
* Evaluate information gathered from various sources, reconcile conflicts, convert high-level information into details, convert technical information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
* Support requirements gathering, using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and other business analysis techniques.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with peers and extended project team for dependencies and risk mitigation, awareness and resolution.
* Facilitate end-to-end business analysis and experience design from business need through to UAT and release.
* Track and maintain new compensation requests including the backlog, and meet with the business bi-weekly to prioritize, as well as partner closely with BT to deliver and communicate timelines.
2. Support project planning, timelines, and risk:
* Contribute to and support detailed project management plans that enable the successful completion of all milestones, decisions and deliverables.
* Support tracking of issues and risks, helping assign owners and driving resolution in a timely fashion.
* Ensure partners are kept informed of all backlog & project updates.
* Partner with stakeholders to organize complex work, decisions and timelines into a comprehensive plan with milestones and outcomes.

* Familiar with Workday Compensation and experience in projects and implementations
* Excited about the future of HR technology and process design
* Can act as both business analyst and project coordinator, depending on what is needed for work, often handling parallel work tracks simultaneously
* Passionate about employee experience, thinking across the end-to-end design and seeking opportunities to simplify, standardize and influence solutions that will make the experience more intuitive for employees and managers
* Ability to think creatively about problems and ability to collaborate on thoughtful, innovative solutions to unforeseen challenges

* Ability to balance multiple, rapidly-changing priorities, tasks and timelines

Desired Experience:
Strong understanding of HR processes and data
3-5 years of HRIS/HR analyst experience
2+ years of Workday experience
Project Management or Business Analyst Certification
