Business Analyst Job Responsibilities:
- Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end-users.
- Collaborates with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
- Excellent communication and ability to generate business dashboards using office suite (Excel and PowerPoint) including writing macros.
- Build financial models and analyzing information
- Linking the multiple data sets in Excel, performing cost-benefit analysis, creating presentations, and doing ad hoc analysis.
- Demand planning and forecasting of technology demand
- Building dashboards based on project KPI's
- Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, finance, or information systems
- Three to five years related work experience
- Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources
- Working knowledge of Windows office systems
- Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives
