Overview:
The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the organization. They collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand, analyze, and document business processes, requirements, and objectives. The Business Analyst is essential for identifying opportunities for improving business operations and facilitating effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and objectives
Elicit and define business requirements through interviews, workshops, and documentation
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and define scope
Produce detailed requirement specifications and solution designs
Facilitate communication and collaboration between business and technical teams
Conduct data analysis to support business decision-making
Identify opportunities for process and system improvements
Assist in the development and execution of test plans
Provide support during system implementation and user acceptance testing
Ensure that solutions meet business needs and requirements
Identify and address potential risks and issues
Contribute to project planning and progress tracking
Conduct impact analysis and provide recommendations for business changes
Provide training and support to end users
Document and maintain business and system processes
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business processes and requirements
Strong understanding of business operations and strategies
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools
Knowledge of software development methodologies and practices
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Understanding of project management principles
Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are a plus
