Onsite
$30 - $40/hr
Travel 25% - Chino Hills, San Diego

What you will be doing:
- Design technology solutions to enable business requirements and processes
- Sustain current knowledge of the rapidly changing technology market
- Function with project managers and stakeholders to develop project scope and vision for all related projects
- Identify project stakeholders and establish user classes/characteristics
- Conduct interviews to gather user requirements (workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, etc.)
- Specify scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics
- Record common patterns or issues to be reused in new solution designs
- Research software, products, and services to meet requirements and support purchasing efforts
- Analyze requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
- Develop and use standard templates to write requirements specifications accurately and concisely
- Develop prototypes of interfaces and attributes based on user requirements
- Design process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts using new and existing processes
- Interpret user requirements into feasible options and communicate these to the business stakeholders
- Oversee and track the status of requirements throughout the collaboration project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary
- Provide guidance/instruction to junior staff members
What you should bring to the table:
- Degree in related field
- 2 years: related work experience
- 2+ years: experience building and specifying mission-critical business applications
- Business and technical requirements (analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development)
- Background overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software/hardware solutions, systems, or products
- Capability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language
- Experience applying statistical and other research methods to systems issues and products
- Understanding of product management and market placement
- Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills (planning, organizing, and managing resources)
- Application development and software development lifecycle concepts
- Proficient using EXCEL
- Familiatrity with basic Excel Functions: (SUM, COUNT, etc.)
- Experience with XLOOKUP - looking up cells on same sheet, across different sheets, and across different Excel files/workbooks
