About the Job
Weichert Workforce Mobility is hiring a Business Analyst in Parsippany, NJ. This is a hybrid position requiring two in office days. The Business Process Analyst is responsible for understanding business needs through meetings with stakeholders and users. The position creates the vision for the solution, gathers user requirements, as well as creates functional and technical requirement documents, project plans, and client presentations and communications. The Business Process Analyst ensures stakeholders and users are intimately involved in the final solution design.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborates with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for new projects, features, or enhancements.
- Process Improvement: Identifies inefficiencies and areas for improvement within existing business processes and workflows. Proposes and implements solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Project Management Support: Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Provides ongoing support throughout the project life cycle as needed.
- Documentation: Prepares detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicates findings, recommendations, and insights to stakeholders through clear and concise reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Business Case Development: Assists in the development of business cases for new projects or initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI projections.
- Software Development Lifecycle Support: Assists with the design, configuration, development, and testing of solutions, as required.
- Continuous Learning Advocacy: Acts as a catalyst for fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization. Stays abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and proactively share knowledge with colleagues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of relocation experience, with a focus on project management and technology implementation/integration
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of project management principles, practices and techniques
- Excellent presentation skills; ability to present to a large and diverse audience, as well as to a small group
- Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products; Visio is a plus
- Ability to manage and build strong relationships
- Creative thinker, self-motivated, and results oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and ability to use typical office equipment (PC, calculator, fax machine, etc.)
