Key Responsibilities:
- The analyst is involved in the design or modification of business systems or IT systems. The analyst interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and needs. The analyst gathers, documents, and analyzes business needs and requirements. A Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business ideas and business capabilities; creating and scoping valuable changes and optimizations to business processes. Developing technical solutions to business problems, or to advance a company's sales efforts, begins with defining, analyzing and documenting requirements. Managing requirements at the project level can help fulfill business needs
- Liaise with business to understand strategies and interpret underlying business needs, and with developers, to propose and design technology solutions, thoughtfully transform them into clear business and design requirements, and project manage to attain successful implementation
- Play a consultative role to business partners and continuously seek out and propose creative solutions and innovative technology ideas to meet business goals
- Interact with external vendors, as well as internal legal, compliance, marketing, branding and other partners
- Build a deep understanding of Corporate and Investment Banking business, products and processes and provide a business perspective to project teams
- Interfacing with business and other analysts, produce detailed use cases to guide the design and development of applications
- Actively seek out and understand latest technologies across institutional, consumer and social domains to determine potential value add if synthesized into the business
- Analyse data, processes, and usability input and produce clear and logical documentation of results
- In addition to collaborating with professional designers, use tools such as Balsamiq to create mock-ups and wire frames
- Utilize query tools to confirm data quality and investigate questions
- Create effective presentations to be used with business audiences of various levels
- Manage timelines, milestones and streams related to own projects
- Track, resolve and escalate issues for own projects while keeping relevant stakeholders informed
- Communicate continually with stakeholders the statuses of deliverables and flag potential risks and delays to successful completion of all projects
- Maintain project deliverables including reporting and tracking statuses using PowerPoint, Excel, TFS, and SharePoint

Knowledge/Experience:
- Financial Services industry experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of the full software development testing lifecycle
- Experienced practitioner of agile development methodology
- Experience in leading the analysis and requirements design of mobile apps
- Demonstrated experience in leading the analysis and requirements design of web applications
Required Skills:
- Strong cross-group collaboration and relationship management skills including coordinating with geographically dispersed teams to achieve deliverables
- Strong skills in developing relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Excel, Visio, Power Point , Word, SharePoint and TF
- Understanding of HTML, XML, SQL, enterprise infrastructure, mobile iOS and Android technologies and their capabilities and limitations
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field with 10 or more years' experience in business analysis within a technology area
- Deep familiarity with full software development lifecycle, particularly Agile
- Aptitude to tackle and resolve complex, often ill-defined issue
- Agility to simultaneously work well independently and within a team environment across the globe with other subject matter experts, analysts, developers and business representatives
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Astute analytical skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Very self-motivated and independent thinker
- Flawless written and verbal communication skills. Must have presence and communicate with clarity, impact, purpose and authority with partners, peers, management and the business
