About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to support our marketing measurement and insights program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering business and channel-level analysis and insights, identifying trends to enable optimization, and driving strategic initiatives to identify opportunities for growth. This role requires strong data analysis and market research skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across product, marketing, data science, and data engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analyses of campaign performance to extract key learnings and themes, communicate findings, and ensure that data insights are actionable and aligned with business objectives.
- Develop comprehensive reports and visualizations that clearly communicate analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work alongside business stakeholders, data scientists, engineers, and product teams to define problem statements, manipulate data, build analytical models, and deliver actionable insights.
- Identify and implement streamlined processes for data reporting and communication. Utilize analytical models to drive key decisions across leadership and the organization.
- Lead efforts to identify growth opportunities and conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific queries such as churn and ROI.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years in data analytics roles with proficiency in SQL (Hive, MySQL, Tableau, etc.) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams, including partners, sales, product, data scientists, data engineers, and infrastructure specialists.
- Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain autonomy in dynamic environments.
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and quickly adapt to deliver results, such as spearheading new projects, overseeing the launch of innovative products, or establishing new teams.
- Ability to provide data-driven insights and strategies to business and product teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record in leveraging data to influence monetization strategies from a product, organizational, or company-wide perspective.
- Experience in identifying and executing monetization opportunities that align with strategic goals.
- Extensive project management experience.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or Computer Science.
Location: On Site New York, NY
Role type: Contract 12 Month Position
