About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams to identify, analyze, and translate business needs into IT-based solutions. This role will involve comprehensive governance support, business process improvements research, and collaboration with various stakeholders, including the Functional Review Board (FRB) and Change Control Board (CCB).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaison Between Business/End Users and IT Teams:
- Act as a bridge between business/end users and IT systems development teams.
- Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope and objectives.
- Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
- Research business requirements and document the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices).
- Translate business requirements into application requirements.
Governance Support for Meetings:
- Provide comprehensive governance support for CCB, FRB, and CMB meetings.
- Prepare meeting materials and relevant documents.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance governance support and improve efficiency.
Meeting Minutes:
- Record comprehensive meeting minutes for CCB, FRB, and CMB meetings.
- Ensure timely distribution of meeting minutes to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation and upload to the required document libraries.
Agendas Creation and Maintenance:
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of agendas for CCB, FRB, and CMB meetings.
- Ensure agendas are distributed in advance to provide attendees with sufficient preparation time.
Research on Business Process Improvements:
- Research actionable solutions for business process improvements.
- Analyze industry best practices and emerging trends to identify potential opportunities.
- Collaborate with team to create recommendations for the client.
Business Case Analysis & Slide Deck:
- Analyze status of current and previous business cases.
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and editing of slide decks surrounding recommendations for the statuses of business cases.
Change Request and Data Changes Monitoring:
- Regularly monitor open Change Requests, Defect Requests, and Data Changes at each stage of the process from initial support through formal approval.
- Prepare analysis and presentations of open item status for stakeholders, FRB, and CCB.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Ability to analyze and present data effectively.
- Experience with SharePoint and governance processes is a plus.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
