Position Summary: The Senior Business Systems Analyst collaborates with the Technical Product Manager and various business units to document and implement operational improvements. This involves analyzing existing processes and reviewing desired process enhancements or automation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consult with the Technical Product Manager and business staff to identify, define, and document business needs, objectives, current operational procedures, issues, input and output requirements, and system access levels.
- Partner with Business Users and Production Support to address daily issues.
- Conduct change impact analyses to assess potential implications of changes and document customer business functions and processes.
- Use complex SQL queries and advanced database tools to manipulate and analyze data.
- Review analysis results with the Technical Product Manager.
- Assist the Technical Project Manager in identifying opportunities for improving business processes through information systems or non-system changes.
- Help prepare proposals for new systems or operational changes.
- Assist in cost-benefit analysis of recommended solutions and lead the execution of selected solutions, including monitoring key milestones and end-user training.
- Track and document changes for functional and business specifications, and write detailed procedures for permanent records and training purposes.
- Act as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, IT analysts, consultants, and others in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of case management systems.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionalities.
- Provide technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff.
- Develop training curriculum and conduct formal training sessions on assigned systems modules.
- Work with vendors to design mapping requirements between multiple systems.

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited 4-year college or university preferred.
- 5+ years of related experience and/or training required, with preferred experience in residential loan servicing and product management, particularly in default loan servicing.
- Basic understanding of systems development lifecycle methodologies, XML, API, Web Services, and modern technical architecture.
Language Ability:
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, detailed correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write complex correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and senior leaders of the organization.
Mathematical Ability:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions with minimal supervision and to address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Previous experience with Black Knight MSP strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Visio, XML, API, Web Services, and ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data using complex SQL queries and advanced database tools.
