Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on radiology practices, technologies, and industry trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Advise on the development and implementation of radiology policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist in identifying and evaluating new technologies and solutions to improve diagnostic imaging and patient outcomes.
- Analyze and optimize radiology workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and quality of care.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including safety protocols and accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to address operational challenges and improve service delivery.
- Work with IT teams and vendors to facilitate the integration and implementation of new technologies.
- Develop and deliver training programs and educational materials for radiology staff on new technologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Serve as a liaison between radiology departments, management, and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and technology vendors.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Radiology, Medical Imaging, or a related field. Advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in radiology, with a strong track record of expertise in diagnostic imaging, technology evaluation, and operational optimization.
• Proven experience in a leadership or advisory role within a radiology or healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in radiology information systems (RIS), picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), and other related technologies.
