Overview:
Under the direction and in partnership with the Project Manager(s), the Business Analyst actively contributes to project delivery by producing key project deliverables (requirements documents, process flow documents, use case capture, testing design/documentation/execution) and applies a customer focused approach to meeting the needs of the project team.
Responsibilities:- Supports and disseminates project management processes and methodologies as defined by Project Manager, contributes to delivery of projects within timeline, budget, and scope definitions, adheres to quality standards and manages customer expectations through application of interpersonal skills.
- Responsible for Quality Assurance, the Testing Plan and Testing Execution performance.
- Assists in formulating key project deliverables including project plans, schedules, communications planning as needed for the timely completion of projects.
- Analyzes business partners’ operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses, determines opportunities to streamline processes/functions, and helps to identify the most effective solutions.
- Serves as liaison between the project team and department team members involved in project with respect to training, testing and eventual management of the output of the project.
- Responsible for completing assigned deliverables in a timely manner and with a high degree of autonomy and proficiency.
- Partners with the Project Manager and the project team in developing and maintaining understanding and buy-in from staff on the project outcomes and according changes.
- Develops and administers technical details and documentation for the assigned project.
- Uses metrics/reporting outputs to demonstrate progress and provides concise overviews to Project Manager for use in sequencing of activities.
- Able to successfully elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements from project sponsors/team members.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Specific training and/or equivalent experience in an industry accepted certifications business analysis discipline (certification such as ECBA, CCBA, CBAP a plus).
- Three years of Business Analytics experience required.
- Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
- Native American hiring preference applies.

- Written Communication: Clearly express ideas, findings, and opinions in properly structured, well organized, and grammatically correct project documentation; utilizes language and terminology that is understandable for project stakeholders and end users.
- Data Gathering and Analytics: Collecting, consolidating, and using relevant information; recognizing vital information; tracing potential causes of problems, and searching for practical data solutions.
