Senior Business Analyst - SAP Warehouse Management (SAP S4 WM/ EWM)

Questionnaire for EWM Profile
• How many EWM implementations performed.
(We need candidate with at least 1 E2E full cycle. No Support experience or rollout experience preferred)
• Will you be able to provide business process solutioning along with Configuration.
(Candidate should be able to answer questions when a real time business problem is explained. I am looking at the approach but not the exact answer.)
• Have you worked with high volume delivery processing clients.
(This will help to evaluate candidate exposure on Wave management / Warehouse order creation and other optimization techniques)
• Explain the functionality implemented in WO creation rules
(I need more work done by candidate on this area for the project.)
• Exposure to Cartonization Planning
(If candidate had not worked in Cartonzation planning, please don't submit resume)
• What are the custom enhancements you performed during your implementation.
(I am looking for object where custom code was written and why it was required?)

Responsibilities:
Drive business blue printing workshops with business and other cross functional teams.
As-Is To-Be discussions and mapping of business process flows.
Gather requirements from Warehouse & Shipping department, analyze and provide solutions based on best industrial practices
Configure, Develop and test changes in SAP for all requirements. Responsible for the overall design & solutioning for SAP WM / SAP S/4 HANA EWM and integration with other modules.
Working as single point of contact for configurations, development, data migration in WM and EWM modules.
Should be able to work with cross functional modules including Material Management, Quality Management, Production Planning and Sales & Distribution.
Document and train other teams for newly implemented processes
Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences.
Develop and execute test plans for SAP WM and EWM configurations.
Required skills:
10 plus years of experience in SAP
At least 2 end to end project implementations with hands on configuration experience in SAP WM module.
At least 2 end to end project implementations with hands on configuration experience in SAP EWM module.
At least 1 end to end project implementation where SAP is interfaced with External WMS system.
3PL integration experience is required to build interfaces between SAP and WMS systems via Idocs and API's Good knowledge in ALE/EDI/IDOC field mapping for data transmission from SAP to External WMS systems.
Should have worked in a high volume distribution centers handling diversified products ( Batch and Serialized
Candidate is expected to have expertise on Cartonization, Quality Inspection Engine, Quantity classifications & Warehouse order optimization rules.
Possess solid knowledge in SAP EWM Mater Data integrations, Inbound, Outbound, Internal Movements, Cycle counting and Kitting
Experience integrating with shop floor orders and kitting orders
Strong knowledge in the following areas of WM and EWM.
o Warehouse master data, org structure setup in WM and EWM.
o Complex Storage Types, put away and Stock removal strategies through configuration or using BADI as applicable in EWM
o Strong knowledge in Inbound process and Put-way process in WM and EWM covering Palletization, consolidation, deconsolidation using Handling Unit.
o Strong knowledge in Outbound shipments & Stock removal process in WM and EWM. Exposure and working experience with Handling Unit Management for Inbound, Internal Movements and Outbound processes.
o Warehouse internal processes, Posting change notice and Production order staging in WM
o Kanban material replenishment in WM
o Replenishment with in Warehouse & Replenishment between Warehouses in WM
o Internal Warehouse processes such as Replenishment, Cycle counting, Physical Inventory and Warehouse re organization in EWM.
o Hands on in Cross process settings, exception handling using custom solutions where applicable in EWM
o Through working experience with Post Processing Framework for standard and custom definitions
o Project stock management in WM
o Customizing WM movement types in WM
o Wave Management including Wave templates in EWM.
o Batch Management, Serial Management, Handling Unit Management/ SU management in SAP WM
o Cycle counting process and interface with external WMS for cycle counting
o Understanding of ITS mobile and RF devices with RF configuration & Queue management
o Outputs, Label printing, Scanners ( RFID, 2D & Linear )
o Involved in development of WM reports and Warehouse activity monitor
o Exposure to Slotting and Warehouse Re organization
o Integration knowledge of LE, WM, MM with SD, PP, QM, FI, CO modules
o Working experience in LSMW, Batch job monitoring/ creation and Idoc Monitoring
o Good Understanding about ABAP Development, Debugging, custom objects such as BADI, functional modules, ALV Reports etc.
o Should closely work with security teams for roles and authorization.
o Daily Queue Management and resolution in both ECC and EWM systems.
o Experienced in documenting Functional design specifications for custom developments.
o Preferred to have TMS Integration knowledge.
