Title: Business Analyst (onsite)
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Duration: Long Term
Must-have skills: 4+y IT BA exp; data analysis exp using PL/SQL, SPSS, PowerBI, Excel, etc; ETL
PREFERRED : gov exp, cloud, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional in
Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA).
Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested. The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client.
Requirements:
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
Work experience as a business analyst (4+ years);
Experience reading and writing software documentation;
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite;
Experience using Microsoft Visio or similar flowcharting tool;
Experience in requirements gathering and documentation;
Experience producing technical documentation;
Experience in conducting data analysis using PL/SQL, SPSS, PowerBI, Excel, etc;
Experience in producing documentation for purposes developing ETL pipelines;
Experience in performing unit and/or user acceptance testing and documenting system issues.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Software Engineering, or other related field.
Preferred:
Experience on projects and/or teams using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban;
Experience with cloud computing;
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA);
Bachelor's or master's degree in data analysis, information systems, computer science, or
similar degree program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Gathering user requirements for data warehouse functionality, reporting, and enhancements.
Creating flowcharts, diagrams, and documentation to outline data processes and specifications.
Organizing and communicating requirements with data engineering teams for clear alignment. Maintaining detailed project documentation, including requirements, data flow maps, and notes.
Developing test cases for user acceptance testing and reviewing data warehouse components. Documenting changes, performance metrics, and providing support for training and job aids.
Ensuring procedural manuals are updated to reflect new data warehouse processes
