Job Description
Growing Manufacturer in Lansdowne PA seeks a The Business Applications Manager will focus on manufacturing applications, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), and WMS (Warehouse Management System) management. This is primarily remote but will require periodic visit to the company's corporate offices in Lansdowne PA.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, project management, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), Data Warehousing, and a business intelligence tool to streamline our operations and drive business efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and optimize the utilization of ERP, WMS & CRM systems
- Ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes within the ERP framework
- Utilize knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP platforms to enhance system capabilities
- Provide support for system configurations, customization, and user training
- Lead and support IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions or enhancements
- Implement and manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes to facilitate efficient data exchange with external partners
- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse(s) to support analytics and reporting requirements
- Leverage PowerBI and/or other business intelligence tools to create insightful dashboards and reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience managing, supporting, developing, and/or analyzing ERP or related applications
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics
- Working knowledge of BarTender or similar label design software
- Experience working with Scan Guns, Tablets, label printers and other equipment in support of manufacturing operations
- Deep understanding of Core Business Processes: Lead to Quote, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Capable of critical thinking for unique and unusual situations
