Job Description:
- The Talent Management Program Analyst will provide business analytics, data analysis, drive small to mid-scale projects as well as process improvement initiatives.
- This role will report to the Strategic Talent Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis
- Analyzes data (internal, project, market, best practices) for trends and impacts (to the department, project, or Institute). Applies analyses to initiate, measure, monitor, and support resulting business initiatives.
- Synthesizes analyses into compelling narratives that elicit stakeholder buy-in, alignment and execution
- Collaborates with HRIS in the data and analytics (D&A) development process. Liaises between HRIS and business owners to understand and communicate the business need collect requirements, provide input and feedback on resulting D&A products.
- Possesses subject matter expertise in SuccessFactors Recruiting module. Ability to configure SuccessFactors functionality to align and optimize business initiatives. Proactively works to optimize the use and functionality of the tool.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders seeking to survey Laboratory personnel, collect requirements, and execute surveys. Assists with department survey strategy development and execution.
- Analyzes survey results and able to learn survey platform tools. Leads or assists with action planning as a result of survey analyses.
- Works closely with internal HR Analytics Team for workforce-related reporting assistance.
- Supports Talent Management team in sourcing best practice research (Gartner, SHRM, etc.) and drafting major findings documents.
Project Management
- Responsible for project planning activities for small to mid-size HR projects.
- Provides project management support to project leads, including establishing project goals, setting timelines, and developing project plans. Manages deliverables and project execution activities including needs assessment, implementation, analytics, innovation, maintenance, and enhancements.
- Support change management project objectives and implementation of risk mitigation strategies
- Develops clear and effective meeting materials, presentations, and project documentation. Able to present and share those materials if called on to do so.
- Proactively identifies and mitigates potential risks and issues.
- Works with the HR Strategic Program Management as needed on strategic efforts and providing further PM support when needed
- Fosters an environment of trust, collaboration, responsiveness, and accountability across both project and departmental teams.
- Ensures transfer of knowledge and responsibilities to owning operational areas prior to close-out of projects.
Process Improvement
- Supports the development of process maps/workflows to improve efficiency of HR processes.
- Maintains and updates process-related documents using BusinessOptix and Visio.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in business/data analytics required
- Previous experience in HR
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems, ERP systems and customer relationship management systems.
- Project administration and coordination experience utilizing proven project and process management skills, tools, and framework
- Strong analytical skills demonstrated by eliciting complete and accurate requirements
- Strong results-orientation, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills to navigate projects through a consensus-driven environment
- Meeting management and facilitation skills, with the ability to follow through and drive progress through others
- Strong PC skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Smartsheet, MS Teams)
Preferred:
- bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years' experience in project management/process improvement preferred
- Experience with SuccessFactors and Yello systems considered a plus.
