Business Developer
King of Prussia, PA
Yearly Salary: $90,000-$100,000 Plus Monthly Commissions
Responsibilities:
As a business developer you are responsible for generating new client business for exterior maintenance services. You will be expected to generate new accounts in the property and management industry by prospecting, networking, referrals and cold calling with a focus on the Industrial, Institutional, Retail and Class A office.
- Responsible for driving sales and the relationship development functions.
- Prospect profitable commercial opportunities in the assigned markets.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and new clients.
- Produce timely proposals using in-house estimating software.
- Specifications and contract documentation for each project.
- Report to sales team on budget vs actual sales and projections.
- Attend Weekly Sales meetings (in-person)
- Attend networking events, trade shows and marketing events
- Support the Operations team with renewing contracts where needed
Requirements
- Prior experience with a record of success in a sales environment. Proven previous sales of 1M
- Looking for someone with a hunter mentality, a go getter who can close contracts
- Superior professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain reporting on a weekly basis and attend an in-person sales meeting weekly
- Must be highly motivated and have excellent time management skills.
