POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Business Development Associate is responsible for driving growth across the miniature and precision bearings segment of our business through consultative sales, upselling and account management, while providing best-in-class solutions. By taking a proactive approach in identifying key decision makers within targeted accounts, the BDA will utilize their savvy communication and technical skills to present and promote Solve and it’s portfolio of products and services to establish, and transform relationships with current, former and potential clients. Working closely with other Sales and Business Development leaders throughout the organization, the BDA will work toward establishing a relationship with our clients as their “go-to” representative for all miniature and precision bearings product knowledge, while offering thoughtful and knowledgeable solutions to satisfy their inquiries and trouble-shoot any product issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive sales growth, through managing a pipeline of potential, former and current clients through identifying current product needs, as well as opportunities to upsell
- Establish customer relationships through consultative sales calls and subsequently utilize your technical product knowledge to assist in providing them direction with their product selection
- Partner closely with Sales Leadership to gain pertinent customer information to be the most qualified resource for any sales support related needs
- Partner with independent manufacturing sales representatives to support their sales efforts for the organization, while identifying opportunities to saturate current accounts
- Provide best-in-class service by listening attentively to customer’s needs, and effectively communicate the best applicable solution via phone or email
- Set-up client accounts in our internal CRM, and maintain and update all necessary client information
- Prepare accurate price quotes for customers, enter and create corresponding sales orders, and advise them on future forecasted product updates
- Stay up to date with product knowledge across all brands and product categories
- Communicate and collaborate with internal departments to find the best possible solution for our customers
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- 2 years of sales and customer service experience
- Intermediate experience using Microsoft office Suite
- 1 Year of technical training or equivalent industry experience
- Previous sales or customer service experience in the miniature or precision bearings industry
- Previous sales or customer service experience in aerospace, robotics or medical device
