About the Job
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of business development or sales experience in the hospitality or staffing industry preferred
- 3+ years of experience conducting sales cold calls, this is a very phone-heavy position!
- Experience responding to RFPs and developing unique pitch presentations according to client needs
- Experience developing strategic marketing content and material
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented personality with a demonstrated ability to work independently
- Ability to handle a pitch load of up to 10 clients at a time
- Project management experience a plus
Responsibilities:
- This position reports directly to the Vice President and President of the agency
- Lead in developing and executing business development, strategic marketing, and revenue growth strategy for our NYC and Chicago-based business, with the ability to scale for national expansion of the agency
- Work closely with the President, and Vice President, and Recruitment Manager on agency growth initiatives
- Lead in developing marketing material, pitch content, and RFP correspondence and procedure
- Identify and secure new client relationships via phone, email, in-person meetings, and other methods; heavy cold-calling/emailing, online and in-person networking, and other activities to build relationships in the community
- Top-of-the-line customer service and HOSPITALITY mindset a non-sequiturs for us
- Manage client follow-up to gather feedback and maximize new business closings
- Ensure consistent messaging across all distribution channels to manage and identify opportunities to promote the agency and new network opportunities
Benefits & Compensation:
- $60,000-$70,000 + uncapped commission on revenue-qualified new business accounts

- 4 days in office, but this role will require moderate travel
- 11 paid holidays, increasing PTO package according to tenure (15 days in year 1)
