Business Development Associate - Tek One LLC

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Tek One Solutions is a well-established nationwide Low Voltage Staffing Firm. We focus on all facets of the low voltage industry with a heavy emphasis on AV, Structured cabling, Access Control, CCTV/Security, IT & Fiber Optics.

This position will report directly to the Director of Operations. Required responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Create new opportunities by hunting for new work.
• Establish relationships with industry partners.
• Generate System Proposals based on information derived from building plans/or generated at client meetings.
• Create a sales pipeline with contacts that you have established with industry partners.
• Create both real and virtual job files for each new project including, but not limited to, the following items:
  • Full client contact information
  • Full contact information associated designers and trades o Accurate documentation lists
  • Job Notes
  • System Proposals
  • Change Orders
  • Wiring Diagrams
• Organize all pertinent job documents including, but not limited to:
  • Floor plans and elevations
  • Cabinet Designs
  • Equipment specifications o Site Photographs
  • Contracts
  • Site VideosChange Orders
  • Warranty information
• Maintain sales pending reports. Status of all projects should be updated as they change.
• Participate in both sales, design, and project management meetings as required.
• Document changes to projects brought to your attention, generate change orders, and secure approval of those change orders.
• Interact with architects, designers, builders, job superintendents, electrical contractors, and other associated trades as required.
• Manage change order flow through admin/accounting to make sure proper products are ordered, delivered, and invoiced.
• Visit project sites as required to fulfill the above obligations.
• Become a resource for clients and their representatives for information specific to their projects.
• Become a technical resource for project managers and technicians for both general questions and those related to specific projects/clients.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist in the full implementation of the proposal and site survey sections of the Simply Reliable Software.
• Learn the Software
• Input data as necessary
• Communicate with software manufacture if necessary
• Attend educational and networking events
• Act as a resource for our industry partners by providing information and attending events
• Attend Manufacture training sessions as required
• Attend industry trainings and events as required
