Comcast’s Northeast Division is seeking dynamic, self-motivated interns who have a strong passion to drive the age of innovation during an immersive summer experience with us! 

Our 10-week paid internship program gives interns hands-on experience working with various groups across multiple office locations within Comcast’s Central Division. As a Comcast intern, you will gain invaluable knowledge of our industry, be a part of our diverse and welcoming culture, and receive exposure to other areas of the business.

• Engagement & Exposure: Creativity, ingenuity, and innovation is the name of the game! As you get an inside look into the day-to-day operations of a cutting-edge media and technology company, you will work on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects with various business units. With many exhilarating experiences built into one internship, you will have the opportunity to take center stage and showcase your summer projects during the final Intern Showcase.
• Professional Development & Fun: You will have the opportunity to network with fellow interns and Comcast leaders through collaborative and social activities, community building, and Intern Experience Days. This internship program maintains a strong focus on professional growth and personal development and Comcast interns will have the opportunity to be a part of a multitude of developmental sessions over the course of their summer. Through ULearn activities, like speaker series and skill-building workshops, you will jump-start your professional development. In addition, collaborative activities with your cohort of interns and networking opportunities with senior leaders will all be major aspects of the summer program.

 

Role Overview

As a Comcast Business Intern Participant, you will assist in planning, developing, and executing strategies within Comcast Business which provides a suite of Connectivity, Communications, Networking, Cybersecurity, Wireless and Managed Solutions to organizations of all sizes. Our intern participants will focus on assisting in the implementation process while tackling significant projects within the business and will require exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills. As you contribute to the meaningful work for our Comcast Business team, you will get to interact with our senior leadership team and network with other cross-functional employees.

This role is an exciting opportunity that will focus on supporting the execution of significant projects that will require exceptional organizational skills and a customer-first mindset to succeed within a fast-paced environment.

Comcast Business has multiple internship opportunities, and your responsibilities will vary; functional areas may include but are not limited to:   

• Sales
• Order Management
• Care
• Retention
• Marketing
• Operations
• Sales Reporting & Analytics

You may also:

• Design, evaluate, and implement process improvements including new methods and techniques to maximize resources and improve operational efficiencies
• Analyze metrics to identify trends, areas of opportunity, training needs, etc.
• Assist in coordinating marketing and communications campaigns, promotions, and programs
• Consolidate data reports to help drive data-based strategic decision making
• Coordinate various projects and assignments with the team and other departments
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from aa accredited college or university
• Authorized to work in the United States of America
• Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week over 11 weeks
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
• Ability to work in both independent and collaborative environments
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred Background:

• Prior business exposure through internships, work experiences, or campus organizations
• Currently pursuing a major in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or related fields
• Interest in the telecommunications, cable, and media industries

Salary:

Base Pay: $22.00

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
