Aleknagik Technology, LLC (ATL) is seeking a Business Development Lead to provide the following:
ATL is seeking a Lead of Business Development to lead the identification, qualification and pursuit of new business opportunities and related markets. Demonstrate an understanding and partner agencies including organizational structure, mission priorities and procurement methodology and tendencies, and competitive landscape both from a Prime and subcontractor perspective. You will leverage this knowledge to develop customer and partner engagement plans and provide thought leadership in the marketplace leading to the development and execution of ATL market plans.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide business development for ATL supporting both Primary and Secondary NACIS Codes.
- Provide critical leadership across the new business capture lifecycle - from opportunity identification, qualification, and win strategy development through the post submission phases of the Business Capture Process.
- Work as a member of a team, he/she formulates, communicates, and implements an integrated business development and capture strategy that provides customers a clear and defensible justification for selecting ATL for the award.
- Develop and implements campaign plans and strategies, maintains a firm comprehension of the customer's requirements, understand the strengths/weaknesses of our competitors, and develops/implements winning strategies that highlight strengths and mitigate weaknesses.
- Establish value-added teaming strategies based on Gap Analysis to improve PWIN and to create a profitable return at a winning bid price enabling a reasonable EBIT.
- Analyze markets for company products and services and recommend strategies to achieve marketing goals.
- Perform business development services including networking and research to increase business and maintain a current knowledge base of opportunities.
- Meet with current and potential clients to ascertain their requirements and apprise them of company capabilities.
- Coordinate and exchange information and leads managers and other personnel.
- Develop proposals, solutions, plans of action, business plans, and marketing materials.
- Support New Business Reviews and Business Area Reviews
- Support the business development team in managing and tracking status of NDAs/TAs and subcontracts for strategic captures.
- Develop a pipeline that fits ATL's Strategic Plan and revenue objectives.
- Respond to RFI's and Sources Sought that are aligned with ATL.
- Provide program management and processing support to the ATL General Manager for assigned programs and contracts.
- Plan and ensure overall contract goals, monitor performance of the Program Managers, Project Supervisor, direct, and coordinate the activities and schedules of staff and foster a work environment that respects individuals, promotes teamwork and cooperation and encourages innovation and new ideas.
- Responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining standard operating procedures and processes.
- Prepare and analyze reports on any changes or trends in customer inquiries/requests for assistance and recommend improvements in overall service.
- Create and deliver daily, weekly, monthly reports to the General Manager.
- Coordinate with Team for support as necessary.
Experience/Requirements
- Advanced degree with a minimum of 5-8 years of BD, managing and supervising large, complex operations, including government industry and contract management experience.
- Proficient computer skills include knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have excellent communication skills verbal and written, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly communicate information to all levels of employees, management and clients
- PMP Certificate preferred.
- U.S. citizenship or the ability to obtain citizenship.
- Ability to pass a government background investigation.
