JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This person will play a key role in generating new leads, closing deals, and contributing to the company’s overall sales strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
• Client Acquisition: Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, aligning the overall corporate solution to the customer’s business needs, challenges, and requirements. Ability to establish and manage executive level customer relationships.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share, as well as identify new and emerging markets.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized sales pipeline and keep detailed records of prospects, sales activities, and outcomes using CRM tools.
• Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to effectively position the company’s products/services.
• Negotiation & Closing: Lead the negotiation process with clients, preparing and presenting proposals, and closing high-value deals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and account management teams to align efforts and deliver seamless customer experiences.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor sales metrics, provide regular updates to management, and adjust strategies based on performance data.
• Travel: 30%+ travel required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven Experience: 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, account acquisition, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
• Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building and maintaining long-term business relationships.
• Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex deals and close new business opportunities.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with staffing is preferred, but not required.
• Self-Starter: Highly motivated, goal-driven, and capable of working independently.
• Culture: Desire to work in an environment that rewards strong ethical standards and conduct.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
