Summary
The products CIMTEC provides can be found in many industries, including automotive, packaging, material handling and logistics, robotics, and commercial equipment. A CIMTEC Business Development Representative (BDR) develops relationships with prospective new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers within an assigned territory. The BDR will work closely with regional Territory Managers (TM's) to identify, approach and close new business within their assigned region
The BDR is responsible for generating new business through outbound calls, lead follow-up, social media referrals etc. The BDR will also be responsible for working with Marketing to develop tailored marketing tactics and strategies to grow the CIMTEC Brand and awareness within an assigned region. The BDR must be technically sound with the ability to articulate the CIMTEC solution capabilities, differentiating CIMTEC solutions from our competitors.
Requirements
- Lead qualification through outbound calling, social media and other
- Maintain and grow existing lead count with both suppliers and marketing
- Work with Partner TM's in identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities with new customers
- Prospect and develop new customers who are a good fit for CIMTEC products and solutions.
- Maintain accurate account records within company supported CRM
Responsibilities
This position is accountable for the promotion and sale of a broad range of technical products/solutions/services under the direction of the VP of Sales. Develops new sales opportunities / accounts utilizing excellent products/solutions/services and customer knowledge to educate customers on pricing and application advantages.
- Partners with regional TM's within a defined territory
- Responsible for developing new sales opportunities. Perform developmental activities to target new competitive large accounts.
- Will work with regional TM's to present and propose CIMTEC sales opportunities to prospective new customers
- Acts as the focal point for new customer communications and solutions
- Ability and willingness to use CIMTEC CRM tools is a must
Qualifications
- 4 Year Degree or Equivalent
- Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with customers and partners
- Experience selling Technical Products in a Manufacturing Environment
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and spoken
- Business and financial savvy. Results driven; financial acumen
