Our client is a global, innovative, human-centered technology maverick, and they are seeking 1-2 technology sales professionals to join their team in Chicago.
Job Description
- Your day-to-day will primarily consist of growing and expanding the existing client base by following up on leads to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities (penetrating and saturating existing accounts).
- You will work with solution architects and coordinate the deployment of demo units to showcase the technology at client sites.
- You will also travel to client sites, when necessary, especially to help close deals.
- By building relationships with decision makers within your accounts, you will grow the revenue from existing accounts year over year.
- You are also encouraged to bring in new logos, if possible.
The ideal candidate for this role will:
- Have a proven successful track record in a similar role, selling high technology products to enterprise clients.
- Be adept at networking multiple levels deep within existing accounts
- Be comfortable creating and delivering value propositions
- Be able to identify and influence key decision makers
- Thrive in a quota-driven sales environment
- Be skilled at closing solutions and services opportunities
- Familiar with formal sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC, Miller-Heiman, TAS)
- Familiar with Salesforce or similar CRM, Excel and other Microsoft Office Software
