Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the growth of our business by gaining clients and generating revenue by establishing key referral relationships, community involvement, family assessments, and other ongoing activities. Educate partners to ensure they know who Home Matters is and how we can help deliver high quality care and help them solve their challenges. The Business Development Manager is a new role with a lot of opportunity for the right person to shape the role.
Qualifications / be able to:
2+ years of experience in the home care field working with referral partners (hospitals, skilled rehab, etc..)
Ability to pass required pre-employment assessments and criminal background test
Be knowledgeable of Home Matters Caregiving Policies and Procedures.
Be knowledgeable of services provided by our agency to manage prospects.
Perform other duties as instructed by the Executive Director / Administrator.
Tracking and reporting of ongoing activities and lead weekly reporting calls on progress.
Business Development
o Target specific referral resources (defined with executive team)
o Establish appropriate cadence activities that lead to new clients
o Build wide relationships with Case Management, Social Services, Nursing, etc.
o In-service based meetings
o Strengthen overall education of who HMC is and where we fit into their discharge plans
Client Service Responsibilities
New Client Management:
oInitial supervisory visit
oOngoing communication
oTransition to existing client model of monthly client service
Intakes/ Assessments
o Perform initial intakes daily/weekly as needed. Work with ED/Administrator.
o Input assessment and tasks into software (ClearCare)
o Perform client and caregiver Intros when needed
Measurements
· New clients, referral sources, and other agreed upon targeted.
