About the Job
Our client is a prestigious regional staffing firm with 15 branch locations in multiple states and provides contingent and direct hire staffing solutions to the light industrial, warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing space and is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to be part of their West Houston, TX team
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year business-to-business sales with a proven track record developing new sales and managing existing client growth.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the full cycle sales process that includes engaging and qualifying prospects and developing business relationships
We are looking for a self-motivated, goal orientated and an ambitious team player to join our team in continuing the growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong networks and centers of influence
Develop and implement sales strategies
Generate and obtain leads through prospecting
Conduct meetings with prospective clients
Close and generate sales through prospects
Meet and exceed weekly goals and expectations
Ensure pipeline opportunity expectations are met and documented
Present effective sales presentations tailored to the potential client while
building trust
Qualify clients, collect credit information and submit in a timely manner
Negotiate contract terms to ensure strong relationships
Conduct site inspections
Follow up with established accounts and grow existing business
Responsible for promptly and accurately inputting all required information into the tracking system
